After MECAWEL put a photovoltaic power plant (with a nominal output of 710.6 kWp and a battery capacity of 230 kWh) into operation at its new production plant in Žamberk and obtained a license for electricity production, the next step is electricity sharing.

As planned, the Energy Data Center (EDC) began operations on August 1, 2024. On the same day, we registered, promptly gained access to the EDC, and subsequently created a sharing group. Starting September 1, 2024, we can utilize the electricity produced in Žamberk not only directly at the production site but also at our production plant in Nekoř and at our subsidiary NOVOKOV in Nová Ves near Litomyšl.

In this way, we have taken another successful step on the path to sustainability for our business!
