I was looking for work near my place of residence and knew about a small machining shop. I started as a standard machine operator at the drill press and I immediately got hooked. I enjoy coming up with solutions – every workpiece is unique, and I get to decide on the process and the tools. The great team and the support from both the supervisor and my colleagues also play a big role.
I appreciate the single-shift operation, benefits like free lunches, and the good relationships at the workplace.
