After MECAWEL commissioned a photovoltaic power plant with a nominal capacity of 710.6 kWp (together with a 230 kWh battery) at its new production facility in Žamberk and obtained a license for electricity generation, the next step – electricity sharing – has now been implemented.
As planned, the Energy Data Center (EDC) began operating on 1 August 2024. On the very same day, we registered, immediately gained access to the EDC, and subsequently created a sharing group. From 1 September 2024, the electricity generated in Žamberk can be used not only on-site but also at our production facility in Nekoř and at our subsidiary, NOVOKOV in Nová Ves u Litomyšle.
This marks another successful step on our journey towards sustainable business practices!
